Equipment

  • 1 Frother optional

Ingredients

Iced Matcha

  • 1 ½ tsp Matcha Powder
  • 2 tbsp Warm Water
  • 1-2 tbsp Vanilla Syrup or Simple Syrup
  • ¾ cup Milk your preference, dairy or non dairy
  • 1 cup Ice

Lavender Cold Foam

  • 2 tbsp Heavy Cream
  • 2 tbsp Milk
  • 1 tbsp Lavender Syrup

Instructions

Whisk the Matcha

  • Add the matcha powder and warm water to a small bowl or cup.
  • Whisk until the mixture is smooth and there are no clumps left.

Sweeten the Matcha Base

  • Pour the smooth matcha into a glass or shaker and add the vanilla syrup or simple syrup.
  • Add the milk
  • Stir to combine

Prepare Serving Glass

  • Fill your serving glass with ice.
  • Carefully pour the matcha mixture over the top.
  • If you want the cleanest layered look once the foam goes on, avoid creating too many bubbles in the base.

Lavender Cold Foam

  • In a small glass or frothing cup, combine the heavy cream, milk, and lavender syrup.
  • Froth until the mixture thickens slightly and becomes silky and airy.
  • You are looking for a texture that pours easily but still sits on top of the drink. Think of it as a soft, glossy foam, not a stiff whipped topping.

Top the Iced Lavender Cream Matcha

  • Slowly pour the lavender cold foam over the iced matcha.
  • Let it float on top, then serve right away.
