What Is a White Chocolate Mocha?
A white chocolate mocha is an espresso drink made with espresso, steamed milk, white chocolate sauce, and whipped cream.
Unlike a regular mocha, which uses dark chocolate, this version uses white chocolate for a sweeter, creamier flavor.

Why This Recipe Is Better Than Starbucks
The Starbucks version is good, but it is also expensive, very sweet, and sometimes inconsistent.
When you make it at home, you can control the sweetness, use better ingredients, choose your milk, and save money.

Ingredients You Will Need
- 2 shots espresso (about 2 ounces)
- 1 cup milk (dairy or non dairy)
- 2 tablespoons white chocolate sauce
- Whipped cream (optional)
Optional: Have extra Lone Goose Vanilla Syrup on hand to add sweetness if desired.

How To Make a White Chocolate Mocha (Hot Version)
- Brew the espresso: Pull two fresh shots of espresso (strong brewed coffee also works)
- Heat the Milk: Steam or heat your milk until hot but not boiling. Froth if desired.
- Mix the White Chocolate: Add white chocolate sauce into your mug. Pour hot espresso over it and stir until combined.
- Add Milk: Pour in steamed milk and stir gently. Top with whipped cream if desired.
How To Make an Iced White Chocolate Mocha
- Pull double shot espresso (or coffee) and place in fridge to cool
- Fill a glass with ice
- Add white chocolate sauce
- Pour in espresso and stir
- Add cold milk
- Top with whipped cream, if desired

How To Make White Chocolate Sauce From Scratch
Homemade White Chocolate Sauce
- 1 cup white chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1 teaspoon vanilla syrup (or vanilla extract for less sweet version)
Heat cream until warm. Pour over chocolate chips. Let sit one minute, then stir until smooth. Add vanilla.

Best Milk For a White Chocolate Mocha
Whole milk gives the richest flavor, but oat milk, almond milk, or 2 percent milk all work well.
