Equipment

  • 1 Blender
  • 1 Espresso Machine or Coffee Brewer
  • 1 Serving Glass or Tumbler

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Ice
  • ¾ cup Milk 2%, whole, skim or non-dairy alternative
  • 1-2 shots Espresso, cooled or 4 oz very strong coffee
  • 3 tbsp Chocolate Sauce
  • 2 tbsp Vanilla Syrup or 2 tbsp Sugar + ¼ tsp Vanilla Extract
  • Whipped Cream for topping

Instructions

  • Brew a single or double shot (or use 4 oz very strong coffee). Then place the espresso (or coffee) in fridge for cooling while we move on to the next steps
  • Add 1 – 1 ½ cups ice to blender container
  • Pour in ¾ cup of milk (or non dairy alternative) over ice into the blender container
  • Retrieve the espresso (now cooled) from the fridge and add to the other ingredients in the blender container
  • Add 3 tbsp chocolate sauce (make sure it’s sauce and not syrup)
  • Add in 2 tbsp of vanilla syrup (or 2 tbsp granulated sugar + ¼ tsp vanilla extract)
  • Verify lid is secure, then blend ingredients on blender frozen drink setting (or similar) for approximately 1 minute. Make sure that it is fully blended/mixed.
  • Remove blender lid, then pour into serving glass. Add in whipped cream and drizzle chocolate sauce. Now it's time to ENJOY!
