Homemade Pistachio Syrup | Only 4 Ingredients

Equipment

  • 1 Stovetop
  • 1 Small/Medium Saucepan
  • 1 Stirring Spoon
  • 1 Mesh Strainer
  • Airtight Containers for Storing I recommend flip top

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup Water
  • 1 cup Granulated Sugar
  • 1 cup Unsalted Pistachios
  • 1 tsp Vanilla Extract

Instructions
 

  • Add water then sugar to a small/medium saucepan. Turn stovetop onto medium heat. Stir until the sugar is dissolved, while bringing the mixture to a low boil.
  • Add pistachios and continue bringing to a low boil, stirring occasionally.
  • Reduce heat and simmer for 10 minutes.
  • Remove from heat, let it cool, and strain the mixture through a mesh strainer to remove the pistachios.
  • Stir in the vanilla extract.
  • Store the pistachio syrup in an airtight container. It will stay fresh in the fridge for up to 3 weeks.
