  • Grab your vanilla beans and carefully slice into smaller pieces. This will make future processing/blending much easier. Put the pieces aside into a small bowl.
  • Next, grab the vanilla bean pieces, vanilla extract, and agave nectar. Pour them into your blender or food processor.
  • Use a strainer to strain out all of the big pieces. I recommend using a stainless steel strainer (less of a mess), but I used a cloth strainer in the video above. Pour the contents of the blender or food processor through your strainer into another container. Take your time to avoid a bigger mess. The container should be air tight with a lid.
  • Place the lid over the container of completed homemade vanilla bean paste. Store in the fridge for later use.
