This homemade lavender latte recipe brings a subtle floral twist to your usual coffee routine, balancing rich espresso with smooth, aromatic lavender syrup. It’s matches the smoothness of our popular Pistachio Latte Recipe. Whether you prefer it hot or iced, this latte is easy to make at home, and I’ll walk you through every step—including a simple lavender syrup recipe that’s perfect for adding a little extra flavor to your drinks. Let’s get started!
Flavor & Taste

A lavender latte offers a unique balance of rich espresso, creamy milk, and delicate floral notes. The subtle sweetness of lavender adds a light, herbal complexity that pairs beautifully with the boldness of the coffee, creating a smooth and aromatic experience. The floral essence is present but not overpowering, lending a slightly sweet and soothing quality to each sip. When combined with a touch of honey or vanilla, the flavors meld into a warm, comforting drink with a gentle, lingering finish.

- Once the mixture reaches a gentle simmer and the sugar dissolves, remove from heat and stir in the vanilla extract. Let the lavender steep for 15 minutes to infuse the flavor.
- Pour the syrup through a fine mesh strainer or cheesecloth to remove the pieces of lavender.
- Use the syrup for the recipe below, and store the rest in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 2 weeks.
