Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Cookies | Full Recipe Video
Earlier this year, I started making videos for all of the recipes that I post. I like to place them here (at the top of the page) for all of our readers that are in a hurry and prefer video recipes. This video helps bring this cookie recipe to life, and it includes visual hints, tips and details that aren’t included in the formal written portion of the recipe below.

This video allows you to see the cookie dough as it is being created and mixed, and it records the finished cookies from multiple angles. We are very far from expert bakers, but I hope our passion shows. I recommend watching this video while following along with the written recipe.

- Carefully add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients. Mix together for a few minutes until the ingredients are all well combined.
- Gradually stir in the oats and chocolate chips until they are mixed consistently throughout the dough.
- Use a cookie dough scoop or large spoon to add rounded balls of dough (roughly tablespoon sized) to the prepared baking sheets. Space them roughly 2 inches apart
- Bake @ 350°F for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown and the centers are soft and chewy.
- Carefully remove the baking sheets from the oven, and allow the cookies to cool for 5-10 minutes. Now they are ready to enjoy!

This has become my standard recipe when I need to whip up something quick that my 3 kids will like, and it is quick and they get excited
Hope that makes sense I’m on minimal sleep
I love Christmas oatmeal cookies, I at least feel like they are a bit healthier for the kids too
I ended up using 1.5 cups of chocolate chips, did use mini size too. A+
Just made for family coming over watching the game. I feel like the oatmeal makes it healthier and the cookies were still yummy!
